I’d been approached by the buyer for a home decor shop on the Kapiti Coast; she’d seen and admired my floral jewellery! When I met with the owner to discuss which jewellery ranges she’d be interested in purchasing, I mentioned my fibre artwork – I just happened to have samples with me.
On seeing my A3 Silver Birch Forest work, she asked me to create two more that could be sold as a triptych or singly. I was delighted to create the additional fibre artworks:
She also bought an artwork for herself rather than to onsell, and I made and sold floral jewellery for the shop as well. A definite win!
