The section on “stitching on fabric” has evolved in a couple of ways: Quirky Villages and Stylised Flowers – stitched on donated Aida cloth, cotton-linen or furnishing fabric. Only the furnishing fabric is really satisfactory; I find the lighter cloths wrinkle as I stitch on them or wrinkle after they’ve been framed, and need more complex finishing and framing.
I hope these Stylised Flowers will keep their shape, as I’m rather fond of them. Similar but different is my Art Nouveau+Deco range.
