Memories of Blue
April 2024: This is my latest range*, “Ghost trees”, with the first four artworks entitled Memories of Blue. (The third and fourth aren’t yet framed.)
May 2024: I’ve now completed and framed five works in this series. To fit an exhibition theme, one of the “Memories of Blue” was altered with green stitching to become Memory of Ancient Forests and I created a companion work, Memory of Psychedelia. The exhibition, Past Present & Future, is a nod to the organisation’s 50th anniversary. Two of my works won a “highly commended” award.
